The basics a VPN you leave on all day needs

SoVPN is one account you use on your phone, laptop and TV. Every plan includes the features below from day one.

  • No activity logs

We don't keep the sites you visit, what you send or your DNS lookups. The device marker is removed when you disconnect.

  • WireGuard, OpenVPN, IKEv2

Use fast WireGuard day to day and switch to OpenVPN TCP on networks that block it.

  • Kill switch

If the VPN drops for a moment, traffic can't leave on your real IP.

  • 44 countries, 62 cities

Korea, Japan, the US and Europe on every plan, with no limit on how often you switch.

  • Sign up with a token

No email, name or phone number. The token made on the sign-up page is your login key.

  • Pay once per term

Pick 1 to 24 months and pay once. Nothing renews by itself when the term ends.

VPN or proxy: pick what fits the job

VPN plans

Whole-device protection, 44 countries

Starting at

$2.51/ mo

A VPN encrypts everything leaving your phone or computer and sends it through a SoVPN server. Choose it when you want one device fully covered on public Wi-Fi, on trips or at home. 24 months of Basic works out to $2.51 a month.

  • Windows
  • Mac
  • iPhone and iPad
  • Android
  • Linux
  • Android TV
  • Router

Residential proxies

Home IPs, per GB, 60 countries

Starting at

$0.225/ GB

Residential proxies send requests from IPs on real home connections. They fit when only one tool or browser should appear in another country: price checks, local search results or ad checks. The GB you buy never expires.

  • Price checks
  • Local search results
  • Ad checks
  • Market research
  • App region checks
  • Review monitoring

Static ISP proxies

An IP that stays put, monthly, 60 countries

Starting at

$0.19/ IP·mo

A static ISP proxy gives you one ISP-registered IP for the whole term. It's the usual pick for account work that needs a steady login location, or for company tools that only accept allowlisted IPs.

  • Account work
  • IP allowlists
  • Ad accounts
  • Store tools
  • Remote office access
  • Long-lived logins

When a VPN helps

On cafe or airport Wi-Fi, other people on the same network and whoever runs it can see where your device connects. At home, your internet provider can see which sites you open and when. With the VPN on, traffic leaves your device in an encrypted tunnel to a SoVPN server, and nobody in between sees the content or the destination.

Sites you visit see the SoVPN server's IP instead of yours. Connect to Seoul and you appear in Korea, connect to Tokyo and you appear in Japan. That matters when you open a Korean banking app on a business trip, or check prices for another country from home.

Which plan should I pick?

All three plans share servers in 44 countries, WireGuard, the kill switch, split tunneling and the no-logs policy. They differ in how many devices can connect at once and in extra features.

  • Basic: 6 devices. Fits one person with a phone, laptop and tablet, and 24 months works out to $2.51 a month
  • Plus: 10 devices. Adds ad and tracker blocking, malicious site blocking and Double VPN. A common pick when you have many devices of your own, TV included
  • Pro: 12 devices. Everything in Plus plus a dedicated IP in one of 10 countries and priority support. Fits when a company system needs your IP on an allowlist

Why sign up with a token instead of an email

SoVPN doesn't ask for an email, name or phone number. The sign-up page creates an account token that starts with sox_. Copy it or save it as a .txt file, sign up, and from then on you paste the token to log in.

At login the token is checked against a value it can't be turned back from. Since we don't collect personal details there is little to leak, but it also means a lost token can't be recovered. Keep it in a password manager or a note you trust.

How do I choose a server country?

If speed matters most, pick the server closest to where you are. From Korea, Seoul and Busan are fastest, followed by Japan and Taiwan. Quick connect in the app picks a nearby server for you.

If you need an IP in a specific country, connect to that country: Korea for Korean services while abroad, the US to see US prices. All 44 countries are open on every plan, and you can switch as often as you like.

Using one account on several devices

  1. 1.Get the app for each device from the Downloads tab in the dashboard (apps are still being prepared)
  2. 2.Open the app and paste your account token to log in
  3. 3.Install the app on your other devices and log in with the same token
  4. 4.For a TV or console with no app, load the WireGuard config file into your router

How VPN pricing and term discounts work

Prices start from the 1-month rate, and the monthly cost drops as the term gets longer. Basic is 31% cheaper on 3 months, 50% on 6, 65% on 12 and 80% on 24. The term price comes out of your balance once on the day you buy, and nothing renews automatically.

You top up from $5 with 7 coins: USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL and LTC, across 12 coin and network options. Your balance never expires, and the same balance pays for proxies too.

How to buy SoVPN

Many people start with 1 or 3 months, then move to 12 or 24 once they know which devices and servers they use. If you buy while a plan is still active, the new one starts when the current one ends.

  1. 1.Save your account token on the sign-up page and sign up
  2. 2.Top up your balance with crypto in the Top up tab
  3. 3.Pick a plan and term in the VPN plans tab and pay from your balance
  4. 4.Get the app from the Downloads tab and log in with your token (apps are still being prepared)
  5. 5.Connect to a nearby server or the country you need

Ground rules for using a VPN safely

A VPN protects the connection between you and the server. These habits make that protection go further.

Keep the kill switch on

It stops your real IP from leaking when Wi-Fi changes or drops for a second.

Connect first on public Wi-Fi

Turn the VPN on as soon as you join cafe or hotel Wi-Fi, then open your apps.

Store your token in one place

Don't send your account token to anyone. Keep it somewhere only you open, like a password manager.

Using a VPN and proxies together

A VPN routes your whole device, a proxy routes one program or browser. Many people keep the VPN on their phone and laptop, and attach proxies separately to scripts that check prices in several countries or to account management tools.

One SoVPN account buys both. From the same balance you can pick a VPN plan and residential, unlimited residential, static ISP or datacenter proxies.

Common questions

See all help articles
What does SoVPN sell?

A no-logs VPN and four kinds of proxies, both paid from one crypto balance. VPN servers are in 62 cities across 44 countries, and every plan includes WireGuard, OpenVPN, IKEv2, the kill switch and split tunneling with no data cap. Your ISP can see that you use a VPN, but not the sites behind it.

How do I sign up with just a token?

Open the sign-up page and save the token it shows you. It looks like sox_XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Copy it or download it as a .txt file, tick the box saying you saved it, accept the terms, and the account exists. There are no fields to fill in.

Do I need an email or phone number?

No. SoVPN never asks for an email, phone number, name or password. The account token is the whole account. Top-ups are crypto only, so card details never come up either.

With no email, where do I get account notices?

In your dashboard. There is no email address on the account, so SoVPN can't send mail. Plan dates, balance changes and support replies all show up there.

How many accounts can one internet connection create?

Up to 3 per IP address. The limit stops bots from opening accounts in bulk. If several people share one connection at home or at work and need more, tell us in the Support tab.

I have my token. What comes next?

Top up your balance with crypto, then buy a VPN plan with it. Both happen in the dashboard, in the Top up and VPN plans tabs. The Downloads tab opens once a plan is running. The apps are still being prepared, and the installers will appear in that tab when they are ready.

Is it legal to connect to SoVPN?

In most countries, yes. A few restrict or ban VPNs, so check the local rules before you connect there. Anything illegal is still illegal over a VPN, and our Acceptable Use Policy forbids it.

What do Plus and Pro add to Basic?

More connected devices and a few extra features. Servers and protocols are the same on all three. Basic connects 6 devices at once. Plus connects 10 and adds ad and tracker blocking, malicious site blocking and Double VPN, which routes you through two servers. Pro connects 12, has everything in Plus, and adds priority support and one dedicated IP in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia, the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France or the Netherlands.

Top-ups start at $5, and your first VPN plan is refundable to balance within 7 days.
