Set up SoVPN on each device
Phones, computers and Android TV use the app. Routers connect with a WireGuard config file. You log in to the app with the account token you saved at sign-up.
App downloads are only for paying customers.

How many devices at once?
Basic allows 6 devices at the same time, Plus 10 and Pro 12. A router counts as one device.
Before you install
Downloads come with a plan
Downloads are for paying customers only. Once your plan is active, the Downloads tab in the dashboard lists every device. The apps are still being prepared, so for now a download button only shows a note that the installer isn't ready yet. Once it is ready, the same button downloads it.
After installing, log in to the app with the same account token you use for the dashboard.
One account for all your devices
You can install SoVPN on every device you own. Only devices connected at the same time count toward your limit, which is 6 on Basic, 10 on Plus and 12 on Pro.
For a router, download the WireGuard configuration file from the dashboard and import it into a router that supports WireGuard. Every device behind that router then uses the VPN, and the router counts as one device.
Common questions
Can I download the app before paying?
No. Apps and configuration files appear after you buy a plan. If you are unsure, the first VPN plan on an account can be refunded to your SoVPN balance when you ask within 7 days.
Is SoVPN in the app stores?
Not yet. SoVPN is not on the App Store or Google Play. When the apps are ready, you get them from the Downloads tab in your dashboard.
I have a new phone or computer.
Install the app on the new device and log in with your account token. An old device that is no longer connected does not count toward your limit.
Which device should I set up first?
The one you use most on public Wi-Fi, usually your phone or laptop. Once it works, add the others one by one. A router setup is handy if you want a TV or game console covered without installing anything on it.
