Refund Policy

If SoVPN doesn't work out for you, the first plan you bought can be returned to your balance. This page explains how it works and where it doesn't apply.

Last updated 2026-11-03

1. Who can get a refund

The first VPN plan bought on an account can be refunded if you ask within 7 days of buying it. Any tier and any period counts, as long as it is the first plan.

Each account gets this once. Plans bought after the first one, and requests made after the 7 days, are not refunded.

Proxy orders follow a different rule. An order that cannot be activated is refunded in full to your balance. Traffic, days or IPs that have already been activated are not refunded.

2. Where the refund goes

We return the full price to your SoVPN balance, and the refunded plan ends at that moment.

Balance cannot be withdrawn or paid out in crypto. It doesn't expire, so you can spend it on another plan whenever you want.

3. How to ask

Within 7 days of purchase, log in to the dashboard and send a request from the Support tab. You can tell us what didn't work for you if you like. It helps us improve, but it's optional.

4. Top-up problems

A top-up is not a purchase, so the refund rule does not apply to it. If you paid and your balance did not go up, send us the transaction ID from the Support tab. We check the payment and credit your balance once it is confirmed.

Payments sent in the wrong coin, on the wrong network, or below the requested amount may not be credited automatically. We look at each case, but we can't promise those funds can be recovered.

5. Closed accounts

Accounts closed for breaking the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy are not refunded.

6. Changes

We update the date at the top whenever this policy changes. Each purchase follows the policy in place on the day it was made.
