How to fill in the connection
There is one host for everything. Country, city and session are added to the username. Change the options below and the sample code changes with them.
Every request leaves from a new IP.

Proxies at SoVPN
Proxy or VPN
The SoVPN app protects all traffic from your phone or computer. It encrypts the connection to our server and hides your IP from the sites you open. It is meant for your own devices.
Proxies are for scripts, tools and browsers that need many IPs, or IPs from one particular country. Typical jobs are tracking prices, checking how ads appear, watching local search rankings, running several accounts within a platform's rules and previewing localized pages. Only requests you send to the proxy pass through it, and each one can use a different IP.
Which type to choose
The four products differ in where the IPs come from and how you pay for them. Start from the site you need to reach. If it accepts server IPs, datacenter is the cheapest. If it blocks them, go with residential.

Paying and activation
Proxies use the same balance as VPN plans. Top up with USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL or LTC, with a $5 minimum per top-up, then order in the Proxy plans tab. Balance cannot be withdrawn back to crypto.
A new order shows as Activating while it is being set up, then changes to Active. If it cannot be activated, the full amount goes back to your balance. No proxy product renews automatically.
One gateway, options in the username
All four products use one gateway: gate.sovpn.store, port 6100 for HTTP and HTTPS and port 6200 for SOCKS5. Each account has a single proxy username and password, shown in the Proxy plans tab the first time you open it. You can also allowlist up to 10 IPv4 addresses and connect from them with no password.
Options are added to the username with hyphens. zone picks the product (res, unl, isp, dc), cc the country, city the city, sid names a session and ttl sets its length in minutes. Respect the terms of the sites you visit. Spam, fraud, credential stuffing and attacks on other services are not allowed.
Common questions
Do I get proxies with a VPN plan?
No. They are separate products. You use one account and one balance for both, but each is bought on its own.
Do I need a proxy or the VPN?
Choose the VPN to protect your own browsing on a phone or computer. Choose a proxy when software needs many IPs, or IPs in specific countries.
Which proxy is cheapest?
Datacenter, from $0.08 per IP a month, on sites that accept server IPs. For sites that block them, residential starts at $0.333 per GB and goes down to $0.225 per GB on orders of 2,000 GB or more.
What if my order cannot be activated?
The whole amount returns to your SoVPN balance. You can spend it on another proxy order or a VPN plan.
Do proxies work in a browser?
Yes. Any browser or tool with HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5 proxy settings can connect to gate.sovpn.store with your proxy username and password.
