Why shared IPs see more captchas
Sharing an address helps privacy, since your traffic mixes with everyone else on the server. But when a site sees dozens of logins from one IP, it may show a captcha or block the address.
A dedicated IP is linked to your account only. To the site it looks like one person on one steady address, and verification prompts usually become rarer.
When a fixed address helps
Office networks, cloud servers and admin panels often let in only approved IPs. Put your dedicated IP on that list once, and you can reach them from a cafe or a hotel abroad.
It also helps with accounts that lock or ask for extra checks when the login IP changes, such as online banking, ad accounts or work tools.
Countries you can choose
Pro comes with one dedicated IP, located in one of these ten countries.
Pick the country the service is used to seeing you in. For company systems, that is usually where the office or server sits.
- South Korea
- Japan
- Singapore
- Australia
- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- Germany
- France
- Netherlands
How you get it
When you buy Pro in the VPN plans tab of the dashboard, you choose the country in the same step. When the IP is ready, it appears in the server list in the app.
Connect to it when you need the fixed address. Otherwise use any shared server, just like on the other plans.
- Go to VPN plans in the dashboard and choose Pro
- Choose the dedicated IP country and pay from your balance
- In the app, go to the server list > Dedicated IP and connect
